CNC Operator/Machinist

Job Description Operation of a C.N.C machine to meet daily production goals with emphasis on product quality, attention to detail, and maintaining a clean safe work area/environment Responsibilities The C.N.C operator is responsible for completing daily production schedules, and following policies and procedures, ensuring the best possible quality, safety, and manufacturing standards. Ability to read drawings and program cnc/cad/drill for accuracy. Inspect glass after processes for accuracy, or for any error prior to placing it on the finished rack. Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling. Maintaining daily general maintenance, regular cleaning, and repair of the machine. Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and stay vigilant for continuous improvement opportunities Check machinery constantly to ensure proper functionality. Ensure that results of the machining process align with company standards. Report all and any faults or abnormalities to your supervisor May be assigned additional duties on a temporary or permanent basis as required by production management. Requirements & Qualification CNC experience of at least 1 year Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and up to 150 pounds assisted Work well in a team environment Ability to work in a fast pace high demand environment Prior experience in glass industry is a plus, but not required Spanish Speaking is a Plus – Not required.
