Job Overview

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Tool Designer for a leading manufacturing company in Dubuque, IA . This role focuses on designing, modifying, and maintaining tools and fixtures used in production to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling for manufacturing processes
Update and improve existing tool designs to support production needs
Work closely with engineers and machinists to troubleshoot and refine tools
Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications

Qualifications:

Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD , or similar CAD software
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Prior tool design or machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
