Job Description Job description: \n US Got People (USGP) is seeking a Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality services to military service members, veterans, and their families at Camp Lejeune . \n Benefits \n \n * Competitive Pay: $30/hour + Health & Welfare stipend \n * Schedule: Monday through Friday between the hours of 0700-1830 \n * Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) \n * Paid time off and sick leave \n * Opportunity to serve a meaningful population and work alongside skilled professionals in a federal healthcare setting \n \n Qualifications: \n \n * Degree: Master's degree in occupational therapy. \n * Education: Graduate from a program in occupational therapy accredited at the time ofgraduation by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)or predecessor organization, to include an internship prescribed by the educationinstitution. \n * Certification: Certified in occupational therapy through the National Board forCertification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in theService-specific credentialing instructions. \n * Active Basic Life Support Certification \n * Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice occupational therapyas required in the TO. \n * Experience: Possess a minimum of two years' experience within the last three \n * years as an Occupational Therapist working with children from birth to threeyears of age. \n * Immunization Requirements \n \n (All immunizations must be current or able to be obtained prior to start date) \n \n * Hepatitis B (series and titer) \n * Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) \n * MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) \n * Varicella (Chickenpox) \n * TB (Tuberculosis) test \n * Seasonal Influenza vaccine \n \n Primary Responsibilities \n \n * Provide full spectrum of occupational therapy services in accordance with the scope ofclinical privileges granted by the MTF. \n * Evaluate and treat deficits in occupational performance components that include motor,neuro-musculoskeletal, cognitive, social, and psychological dysfunction. Treatmentincludes individual and group-based purposeful activity, exercise, physical agentmodalities, fabrication and training in the use of temporary functional orthotics, splintsand adaptive devices, counseling, and education. \n * Provide assessment, education, and training in the areas of health promotion anddisease/injury prevention, to include prevention of psychological dysfunction and stressmanagement. \n * Administer and interpret occupational therapy assessment and evaluation tools. \n * Interpret evaluation findings to develop and coordinate intervention plans, includinggoals and methods to achieve stated goals. \n * Implement the intervention plans directly or in collaboration with others. \n * Monitor the individual's response to interventions and modify treatment plan andreevaluate as necessary. \n * Communicate and/or collaborate with the patients, family members, caregivers,interdisciplinary professionals or other individuals verbally and in writing. \n * Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants and Certified OccupationalTherapy Assistants. \n \n Why Join USGP? \n At USGP, we are dedicated to supporting our nation's veterans, service members, and their families .
