Overview

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join a growing infrastructure and support team. This individual will provide technical assistance to end users, maintain computing environments, and support the day-to-day operation of enterprise technology systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong troubleshooting skills, customer service experience, and a willingness to expand their technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktop and laptop systems, peripherals, and end-user devices.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
• Support user account management and access requests.
• Monitor and maintain business-critical applications and technology services.
• Assist with email, collaboration, and communication platforms.
• Support server environments and infrastructure systems, including physical and virtual environments.
• Maintain system security and ensure adherence to IT policies and best practices.
• Document issues, resolutions, and support activities while delivering excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of desktop support, computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues in a professional environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and user-related issues.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and participate in ongoing technical training.

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Louisville,KY.
