Contract | Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM EST | Holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment in accordance with facility standards
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and ensure timely delivery of results
• Prepare patients for MRI scans and explain procedures to promote comfort and cooperation
• Insert IVs when necessary for contrast or other test requirements; injection certification required
• Document all procedures accurately while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information
• Perform patient care tasks as needed throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Injection certification required to be considered
• GE scanner experience required to be considered
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association only
• Minimum of two (2) years of MRI Technologist experience
• NYS Radiologic Technologist license required; candidates must be willing to obtain after start if not already held

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
