Paul's Pantry has an immediate opening to join our team as a Pantry Crew Member. The ideal candidate is an energetic, community-minded individual with a strong work ethic. The successful applicant will be a team player with a heart for service as well as a positive attitude. This person will work closely with our dedicated staff and volunteers to prepare the pantry for our daily distribution. Position is full-time, 40 hours per week, benefit eligible and includes Saturdays. Duties include:
- Transporting products from warehouses, coolers and freezers to distribution area
- Organizing, rotating and stocking produce during daily distribution
- Stocking shelves and sorting donations
- Assist with unloading of trucks and cleaning as needed
- Maintaining a positive attitude while working with and serving people in need
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Concern for the poor and marginalized
- Ability to lift, move and carry items
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills
- Previous grocery experience
- Spanish language skills
