This position is focused on providing exceptional care to patients with various complex medical conditions.Responsibilities\n \n Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with high acuity needs, including conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, CHF, DKA, and diabetes.\n Manage patients with chest tubes, pleural effusions, and pneumothorax.\n Provide care for patients requiring respiratory support, including those with trach, vents, BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula.\n Utilize telemetry to monitor patients effectively.\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n Qualifications\n \n Active RN license in New Hampshire or an accepted compact state.\n Minimum of 1-2 years of MedSurg experience; critical care experience will also be considered if fluent in care for med-surg ratios and acuity.\n Current BLS certification required; NHISS certification needed prior to start, with ACLS preferred.\n Ability to adapt to changes and float to multiple locations as needed.\n Documented experience with electronic health records and nursing protocols.\n Schedule\n This position requires a night shift, providing continuity of care overnight from 7 PM to 7 AM.Location\n Position may involve assignments in multiple locations within the region.Additional Information\n Candidates must be prepared to provide up-to-date resumes reflecting relevant experience and competencies.
