Job Summary This position reports to the Rancho Mirage Student Center (RMSC) at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus. The student assistant is to support RMSC staff in the areas of Programming, Marketing, and Administrative work. Responsibilities Under direct supervision, duties include but not limited to: Support hosting RMSC collaborative events for the CSUSB student population Assist identifying and creating campus events including contracting and collaboration building Data Entry Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position. Special Qualification: Admission or registration as a CSU student. Required Qualifications Maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or greater per semester and cumulative. The compensation offered will consider internal equity and experience among other factors. Position Information Work status: Part-Time, Temporary, Seasonal Academic year available hours: Monday through Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm). Summer available hours: Monday through Thursday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm).
