In this role, you will work part-time within a K-12 setting, providing vital PT services to a diverse group of learners. The position offers consistent hours and a collaborative atmosphere, creating an ideal balance for professionals seeking stability and impact in their next assignment.

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Physical Therapy (PT) license required
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric PT preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt interventions for a wide range of student needs and learning styles
• Professionalism, organization, and a passion for working with children

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ physical therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals and best practices
• Provide direct PT interventions for students across the K-12 spectrum
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and participation
• Maintain accurate documentation related to evaluations, progress notes, and compliance requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team’s planning
