As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in De Soto, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, offices, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and sensitive areas to help to support site protocols, protect property, and maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, or other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
