About the Job:

Piping Systems Installations LLC (PSI) is a growing mechanical contractor located in Assonet, MA. We specialize in process piping, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, boiler systems, and fire protection. We are currently seeking a Lead Mechanical Estimator with strong field knowledge and experience estimating commercial and industrial mechanical projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare estimates for mechanical projects including piping, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and boiler systems.
• Perform material takeoffs from plans, specs, and P&IDs.
• Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare labor, material, and equipment budgets.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks.
• Coordinate with project managers and field teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years estimating mechanical construction projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software and Bluebeam.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Trade background in pipefitting, plumbing, or HVAC.
• Experience estimating public works or prevailing wage projects.
• Industrial or manufacturing project experience.
