Cafe Corazon is looking for a part-time dishwasher.

The Dishwasher will maintain the kitchen work area, equipment, plate ware  and  utensils  in  a   clean, sanitary and orderly manner. Assists in food preparation procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS!

1. Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dirty dishes and places them in the dish washing machine.

2. Sorts, stacks and restocks service ware to the location from which they are used.

3. Washes pots, pans and trays by hand and/or machine.

4. Removes trash and garbage to the dumpster area.

s. Washes work area tables, walls, refrigerator, cooking equipment and

floors.

6. Cleans garbage cans and trash receptacles.

7. Assembles, maintains and breaks down dish machine.

8. Maintains a clean and sanitized work station based on state health department requirements.

9. A participating member of the team by, putting away and rotating product, changing sani-buckets and bus tubs,  assisting with prep and bussing tables.

10.   Completes daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned.

11.    Performs other duties as assigned by management.

MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1.     Good manual dexterity.

2.     Takes pride in work.

3.     A cooperative personality.

4.     Able to work at a rapid pace for an extended time period.

s.      Must be able to work an agreed upon schedule.

6.     Walks, stands, bends, reaches and lifts on an ongoing basis.

7.     Works routinely with washing and cleaning chemicals.

8.     Works in a high moisture environment.

9.     Works on regularly wet floors.

Café Corazón was opened by George and Wendy Mireles in 2009 in Riverwest. Pulling inspiration from their time living in the San Francisco Bay Area, they sought to bring fresh Latin cuisine to Brown Deer & Milwaukee. Using beef and produce from Wendy's family's farm, supporting local farmers, and growing produce at their own urban garden, Café Corazón has been committed to serving the freshest local fare for both meat eaters and vegan/vegetarians. They later expanded to Bay View in early 2016. They take pride in knowing each location shares the same commitment to sourcing local food while offering a unique dining experience.
