Temporary Facility Manager

Position Overview The Temporary Student Center Facility Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Student Center during the specified temporary duration. The Temporary Facility Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining facility safety and cleanliness, and coordinating overall facility operations in the absence of the Student Center Coordinator and Management Staff. Key Responsibilities Serves as a primary point of contact for customers, student staff, full-time staff, and building partners utilizing the Student Center and is responsible for all aspects of customer service throughout the facility. This position serves as the building representative in lieu of Student Center Coordinator and/or Management Staff to assist, supervise, and coordinate the overall operation of the facility. Staff will also complete required paperwork and/or reports, assist with phone/van usage, conduct thorough rounds to ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility, maintain service areas, and provide event support as needed. Other duties as assigned by the Student Center Coordinator and/or Management Team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of at least 2 to 4 years of training and experience. Bachelor's degree in higher education, adult education, facility operations, student affairs, housing, etc. 2-3 years of experience within the related fields (preferred). Valid North Carolina Driver's License. Work Hours Varying Shifts: M-F 3p to 12a, W-F 3p to 12a, Sa 9a to 7p/2p to 11p, or Su 11a to 8p/2p to 11p (40 hr/wk) Compensation $16.00 per hour Equal Employment Opportunity Statement North Carolina A&T State University participates in E-Verify.
