Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Mission Advancement or designee the Mission Advancement Officer Clinical Programs (MAO) will lead fundraising efforts in support of Southcoast Healths Health at Home and Cancer Care programs. The MAO will develop and execute strategic fundraising initiatives that align donor interests with critical clinical priorities helping to advance innovative patient care and program growth across these service lines.

Serving as a visible and engaged partner within both Health at Home and the cancer centers the MAO will collaborate closely with clinical operational and philanthropic stakeholders to identify funding opportunities and cultivate meaningful donor relationships. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of approximately 125-150 donors and prospects with the capacity to contribute $5000-$25000 annually securing philanthropic support through existing funds and the development of new giving opportunities that address emerging organizational needs.

The MAO is responsible for achieving annual fundraising goals and will serve as the department lead for oncology-focused fundraising events campaigns and engagement initiatives. This role requires proactive donor cultivation thoughtful prospect management and strong relationship-building skills to inspire philanthropic investment in Southcoast Healths mission.

As an ambassador for Southcoast Health throughout the community the MAO will foster relationships with donors volunteers community leaders and other key stakeholders while partnering closely with the Mission Advancement team to advance departmental and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Successful track record of securing gifts or sales $1000 through formal moves management process.
• Knowledge of Mission Advancement principles and fundraising programs preferred.
• Experience in fundraising or sales metrics strategic planning and implementation required.
• Track record of successful prospect portfolio management planning and meeting fundraising or sales objectives donor/customer relations evaluating results and developing corrective strategies preferred.
• Strong organizational motivational and presentation skills are all required.
• Familiarity with fundraising software (i.e. Raisers Edge) and Internet Resources preferred.
• Three (3) experience in development preferred; experience in healthcare/medical field preferred as is health care knowledge.
• Writing sample will be requested as part of the interview process

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $80912.00 - USD $135969.60 /Yr.
