Prep Cook
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that all ingredients are prepared efficiently and to the highest standards, supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring as per recipes and standards
- Assist in setting up stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support the kitchen team during service hours by ensuring timely preparation of ingredients
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of prep areas and storage spaces
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food preparation or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
