Urology Opportunity in Northern West Virginia

Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join a well-established and expanding practice. Enjoy strong administrative and clinical support and have access to the latest treatment options available. Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the urinary tract and reproductive system that will include medication management as well as performing surgical procedures. Work both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Five Advanced Practice Providers across inpatient and clinic. Dedicated urology OR suite. SpaceOAR Hydrogel, UroLift implant, Blue Light Cystoscopy and UroNav fusion biopsy. Large referral base. Guaranteed base salary plus bonus incentives. Significant recruitment incentives with an initial multi-year contract. Comprehensive health benefits provided by WVU Medicine. 403B retirement match program with optional 457B plan. CME time off and annual allowance. Short term disability plan covering 100% base salary for up to 6 months.

Provides services to a nine-county area with a population of approximately 200,000. Median age of WV state wide population is 39.5 and increasing as we have the highest population age density in the US now; older than Florida based on population. Restaurants, college sports (WVU 35 miles away-Big East) WV theatre, WVU creative arts complex; Pittsburgh is closest true cultural center with symphony, ballet, opera, etc and is 125 miles by interstate and does a great job of marketing to the Saturday/weekend crowd; many of us do that a lot.
