Job Overview Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist. In this field‑based role, you will build relationships with retail partners, increase program visibility, and support business growth across your territory. Basic Details Job type: Regular Location: Market – AMRET – NY – New York 288 Schedule: Monday – Friday Base pay: $25 per hour Bonus: 10% monthly bonus opportunity Responsibilities Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and in‑store branding. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to meet territory goals and coverage expectations. Maintain professional interaction with merchants and store employees. Advise merchants on product information, audit comparative promotions, and gather feedback. Assist with launch‑related activities and major market events as needed. Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations and submit timely feedback reports. Day‑to‑Day Profile Field‑based position involving daily travel within your assigned territory. Expect 22‑35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling. Independent work with strong support from leadership and training teams. Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals. Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly. Effectively schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance. Execute assigned activities inside each location during all visits. Demonstrate ability to establish and influence business relationships through merchant awareness, POP placement, and consistent productivity. Maintain accurate documentation for each visit. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Six (6) months of prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, team environment. Reliable transportation within assigned territory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment. Organized, reliable, with strong route management skills. Adaptable, professional, and customer‑focused. Prior retail, sales, field marketing, or customer‑facing experience is a plus.
