Security GSOC Account Manager

Allied Universal is hiring a Security GSOC Account Manager for a Health Care Technology Company located in Boston, MA. The Security Global Operations Center (GSOC) Manager oversees global security operations and other business function leaders for a high-profile client. This position manages all GSOC staff—including the Coordinator, Lead Analyst, and Analysts—maintains payroll and staffing, and ensures that all security operations meet the required company and client standards. The GSOC Manager monitors team health, ensures training requirements are met, and serves as the local point of contact for all processes within the GSOC, directly responsible for the execution and improvement of policies, procedures, and processes. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Serve as communications hub for the Global Security department Act as the primary point of contact in the GSOC for any business risk related to the protection of the client’s people, assets, operations, and reputation Oversee GSOC operations, ensuring adherence to KPIs and SLAs across all aspects of the operation Manage the GSOC team to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all incidents and crisis events that may impact the client domestically and internationally Assist with the creation and development of programs and processes that scale and balance near‑term goals and long‑term strategy Ensure technical solutions, workflows, and processes for the GSOC remain accurate, efficient, and innovative Communicate and disseminate information to key stakeholders using established communication methods and procedures Promote a culture that sustains employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action as needed Ensure staffing levels meet operational needs and operators are trained appropriately for their roles Maintain scheduling and payroll operations Provide backup, support, and on‑call function as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Pass any state‑required training or other qualifications for licensing Should have a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a relevant field of study Must be 21 years of age Type and Length of Specific Experience Required Bachelor’s degree Security industry certifications (CPP, PSP, CEM, etc.) Intelligence, corporate, military, law enforcement, and/or security experience Previous experience working in and leading personnel in a GSOC, or similar command center environment Knowledge and Skills Required 5 years of experience leading a team Strong project management skills, with the ability to work in and define ambiguity/gray areas while adhering to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills Experience creating training material and conducting training programs Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership Proven interpersonal skills with a strong ability to work in a team environment A positive attitude with excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work in a flexible scheduling environment (nights, weekends, and holidays) as operational needs dictate Physical Requirements and Environment Office setting, minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures expected Major activities include working on a PC and using a telephone while sitting Physical effort: limited, including some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions Salary: $85,758.40 / year #J-18808-Ljbffr Allied Universal
