Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant will be primarily responsible for the preparation of all bank account reconciliations and associated journal entries required each month.The Junior Accountant will also assist in various treasury roles including processing the weekly AP checks, setting up electronic transfers and wires, and processing/depositing checks received.Additionally, the Junior Accountant will work with the financial reporting team to close the ledgers each month/quarter, assist with the annual audits and quarterly financial reporting required, and other special projects as required. Responsibilities: Prepare the monthly bank reconciliations and associated journal entries needed for multiple bank accounts across multiple legal entities. Coordinate and manage the weekly AP check runs. Assist in setting up daily wire and cash transfers. Support month-end and year-end closing processes including preparing accruals and reconciling entries as required. Help prepare the quarterly reporting packages required for our investors and banks. Assist in the coordination of the preliminary and year-end annual audits. Help maintain positive investor relations by providing timely responses and communications. Help manage and organize the addition of new investors in the company and document changes requested to existing investors. Assist in the timely reconciliation of general ledger accounts for all entities. Participate in other projects as required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting. High competency and experience with MS Excel. High attention to detail and actively seeks to improve processes. Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while dealing with complex transactions. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion of assigned tasks.
