M&A IT Senior Consultant

M&A IT Senior Consultant Work You'll Do As a Senior Consultant in M&A IT, as part of the M&A Integration & Divestiture (I&D) team, you will be responsible for: Supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through IT integration and separation planning, analysis, and execution. Assessing applications, infrastructure, data, and IT operating models to identify Day 1, transitional, and end-state requirements. Developing workplans, tracking milestones, coordinating dependencies across workstreams, and identifying changes in scope or risks. Building business cases, financial analyses, and client-ready deliverables to support IT synergy, cost reduction, migration, and rationalization decisions. Working with managers and cross-functional teams to validate outputs, communicate recommendations, and deliver work aligned to client needs and engagement objectives. Qualifications Required: 4+ years of experience in M&A integration and/or divestiture service delivery within the information technology function. 4+ years of experience in one information technology domain. Bachelor's degree. 4+ years consulting or industry experience; alternatively, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and 2+ years of consulting or industry experience. Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred: Experience working in a professional services consulting firm. Experience with cloud migration or cloud stand‑up activities. Experience leading workstreams or small teams on larger projects. Experience developing presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint and process flows in Microsoft Visio. Experience supporting communications, culture, or change management activities. Advanced degree. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $128,000 to $252,500.
