Employer matched retirement savings with access to meet individually with a retirement plan representative A commitment to growing our leaders, with at least 50% of our leadership positions being filled internally Key: *** = Full Time & Part Time Regular Staff Only What You'll Do As a Homemaker/Companion: As a Companion Homemaker, you will carry out our Mission of Love by shopping with or for residents, accompanying residents for appointments, pet care, laundry, medication reminders, light housekeeping, bath/shower safety and social visits. Our Homemaker/Companion is responsible for the following: Provides quality companionship services to seniors in their homes with specific services as outlined in the service plan. Assist residents with activities of daily living i.e. bathing, hair care, nail care, mouth care, feeding, skin care, and toileting. Completes and documents all care as assigned accurately and in a timely manner. Assist in meal preparation and providing cueing for meals as indicated. Assists in keeping resident's living area neat to include light housekeeping chores and laundry as directed by the service plan. Transports resident to activities or appointments and run errands as directed by the service plan. What You Need as a Homemaker/Companion: High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not essential Successful completion of a criminal background check Sincere interest in working with the elderly Satisfactorily completes orientation training Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License required We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
