Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in a community hospital outpatient clinic setting, managing a full caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Evaluate and treat patients with diagnoses including neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries, general debility, and general pain
• Provide acute care coverage in a general hospital patient population (respiratory, cardiac, CVA, orthopedic) on a rotating weekend schedule approximately every 4–5 weeks, with flex days the week before and after
• Document patient care accurately using facility EHR systems (Meditech for acute care; WebPT for outpatient)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for an adult and older adult patient population, with occasional older adolescent/teen patients

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist program
• Current North Carolina PT license or PT Compact License from a compact-eligible state
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Ability to manage a full caseload in a fast-paced outpatient and acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neurological and orthopedic physical therapy
• Prior acute care physical therapy experience preferred
• Outgoing personality with strong ability to adapt across outpatient and acute care settings
