Location: Mansfield Multi-speciality Clinic and Urgent Care Center Department: Rehab-Arlington/Mansfield Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary The Sports Rehab Physical Therapist will provide out-patient services focused on functional skills to enhance development, restore function, and prevent disability from pediatric conditions, illness, and injury. The role involves evaluation, treatment, and home programming for children and adolescents with orthopedic injuries/diagnoses and sports‑medicine related issues. Responsibilities Provide evaluation, treatment, and home programming for pediatric orthopedic and sports‑medicine patients. Offer patient and caregiver education and consultation to other professionals, clinics, and agencies within Cook Children’s Health Care System and the community. Participate in school‑based sports medicine physicals and injury‑prevention education and screening. Document services and correspond with other departments in accordance with department and system policies. Qualifications Master's Degree or equivalent experience. Experience and/or certification in pediatrics, sports medicine, or athletic training preferred. State license for physical therapy or eligibility for licensure. BLS certification required within 30 days of employment. Ability to work flexible hours/shifts to accommodate before and after school hours.
