Base Pay $14.00 - $14.00 / Hour Job Category Cashier, Non-profit Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Required Degree High school Manage Others No Position Summary: St Vincent de Paul seeks a Cashier to contribute to the Agency’s mission by performing regular duties and responsibilities: Greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, operating cash register, opening & closing the Store, helping with pricing and sale of donated merchandise. This position is located at 4420 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40216. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet customers in a courteous manner. Assist with opening and closing of the Store. Perform daily duties as directed to keep Store clean and orderly. Perform other duties as assigned. Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to communicate with and assist customers, volunteers, and donors. Ability to operate a cash register. Ability to stand and walk/remain on feet for long periods of time (essential to the job). Commitment to the Mission and goals of St Vincent de Paul. Requirements A combination of education, training, and experience that results in demonstrated proficiency to perform the work may be substituted.
