Night Auditor

Description The Holiday Inn at East Windsor is seeking candidates for the position of Night Auditor to join our award-winning team. PLEASE NOTE: The Night Auditor position is an overnight shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to this shift. The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing all front‑desk activities overnight and must maintain a high level of integrity. The Night Auditor also reconciles all bookkeeping and financial records, checks guests in/out, and answers any questions from guests. Responsibilities & Duties Performs end‑of‑day accounting tasks such as reconciling credit‑card transactions, occupancy percentages, room charges, and cash drawer activity. Checks in guests, takes reservations, and responds to guests’ questions. Handles items related to the lost and found according to company standards. Tracks room availability and occupancy. Works independently with minimal supervision. Attends monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessary. Has knowledge of all essential aspects of hotel operations/procedures. Compensation and Benefits Include This position offers a starting rate ranging from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Part‑time employees may earn paid time‑off and join the company’s retirement plans once qualified. Requirements We require candidates to possess the following skills and qualifications: Superb written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization and multi‑tasking abilities. Judgment and decision‑making skills. Strong knowledge of MS Office programs. Experience with property management systems is a plus. Strong mathematics and reading comprehension abilities.
