Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Chandler, AZ Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! Job Title Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Location Chandler, AZ Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to laboring, preterm, and antepartum patients in an active Labor and Delivery unit averaging 8-10 deliveries per day Circulate and recover C-section patients in fully equipped OR suites; scrubbing is not required Titrate Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate drips per established unit protocols Monitor patients using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) system and document care using the facility EMR Float to Mother/Baby and Postpartum units as needed Provide coverage across an 18-bed LDRP unit, 14-bed OB triage, and 8-bed antepartum area Required Qualifications Active RN license with Labor and Delivery experience Demonstrated experience circulating and recovering C-section patients Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications Computer charting experience required; Cerner strongly preferred Must pass a dysrhythmia exam with a minimum score of 80% prior to offer (maximum of 2 attempts) Must successfully complete a pass/fail simulation lab on day one of orientation Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience with Cerner EMR and Fetal Link EFM system Familiarity with AWHONN staffing guidelines and standards Experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting at a Level II or higher facility Why Join Us Work in a well-resourced unit with 24/7 anesthesia, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, an in-house OB hospitalist, and IV team support Join a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center and Level II facility caring for gestations 28 weeks and greater, offering a dynamic and clinically rich environment #J-18808-Ljbffr TravelNurseSource
