Job Summary:The Senior Manager, Field & Marketing Learning Excellence – Medical Dermatology is responsible for the strategic design, development, and execution of learning solutions that support the U.S. Dermatology & Immunology Business Unit, including key assets such as LEQSELVI and ILUMYA. This role ensures that Field Sales are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and capabilities required to successfully execute in a complex, highly regulated, and competitive specialty environment.This position plays a critical role in supporting product launch and lifecycle management by delivering comprehensive training strategies aligned with brand objectives, business priorities, and field execution needs, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory, legal, and company standards.Responsibilities:Training Strategy & Execution• Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with Medical Dermatology business objectives and brand priorities, including LEQSELVI & ILUMYA• Lead end-to-end training strategy for pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases• Translate strategic imperatives into structured training plans that drive field readiness and performance• Lead training delivery for new hire, national meetings, POAs, and key commercial initiatives• Ensure consistency and scalability of training programs through standardized frameworks and best practicesCurriculum Development• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive curriculum maps across onboarding, launch readiness, and ongoing development• Develop blended learning solutions including instructor-led, virtual, and digital learning formats• Create and maintain training materials across disease state, product knowledge (including LEQSELVI & ILUMYA), business landscape and selling skills• Ensure all training materials are aligned with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) requirementsLaunch Excellence & Field Readiness• Lead all training components associated with product launch, ensuring field teams are fully prepared for execution• Develop and implement certification programs, assessments, and readiness benchmarks• Support training for complex dermatologic disease states and therapies, including mechanism of action, clinical data, and competitive positioning for LEQSELVI and ILUMYA• Partner with field leadership to embed coaching tools and reinforce training application in the fieldCross-Functional Collaboration• Serve as primary training partner to Marketing, Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and Sales Operations• Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure training reflects brand strategy and customer engagement objectives• Partner closely with Sales Operations to ensure alignment on tools, platforms, and reporting, and provide training support to enable effective field utilization• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure integration of reimbursement, payer, and access dynamics into training• Represent Medical Dermatology training in enterprise learning initiatives and cross-functional forumsProject & Operational Management• Lead multiple training initiatives simultaneously, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget• Manage external vendors and training partners to deliver high-quality, compliant learning solutions• Develop and maintain training plans that outline objectives, strategies, and execution milestones• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvementMedical Dermatology-Specific Responsibilities• Maintain deep understanding of medical dermatology therapies and specialty markets, including dermatology and immunology• Incorporate payer, reimbursement, and specialty pharmacy dynamics into training programs• Ensure training reflects evolving clinical data, treatment paradigms, and competitive landscape for LEQSELVI and ILUMYA• Support field teams in navigating complex customer environmentsTechnology, Tools & Platforms• Utilize LMS, CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva), and digital tools to support training delivery and tracking• Leverage data and analytics to measure training effectiveness and inform continuous improvement• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, including AI-driven learning and field enablement tools, and incorporate them into training strategies where appropriate• Incorporate innovative learning approaches including digital reinforcement and microlearning• Partner with Sales Operations to support training on systems, tools, and platforms to ensure effective field adoption and utilization Leadership & Influence• Demonstrate ability to influence without direct authority• Provide subject matter expertise in instructional design and facilitation• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvementEducation &Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree required• 7–10 years pharmaceutical/biotech experience• 4+ years in commercial training• Launch experience in specialty/medical dermatology• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills• Experience in medical dermatology, dermatology, immunology, or specialty therapeutics sales training, preferred• Experience with market access and specialty pharmacy preferred• Vendor and project management experienceTravel:25% travel requiredTravel between Sun locations may be required, as defined by business needsThe presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $119,500 to $146,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
