This role is responsible for keeping field technicians and project teams supplied with the materials, tools, and equipment they need to work efficiently.

The ideal candidate enjoys a combination of warehouse operations, inventory management, purchasing support, and logistics coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including organization, storage, housekeeping, and inventory control.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify materials, and maintain accurate receiving records.
• Coordinate outbound deliveries, returns, and jobsite shipments to support service and project teams.
• Pull, stage, and distribute parts, materials, tools, and equipment for technicians and project personnel.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through ongoing tracking, organization, and replenishment activities.
• Track company-owned tools and equipment to ensure availability and accountability.
• Assist with purchasing activities, vendor communication, order tracking, and follow-up on backorders.
• Support material planning and logistics coordination for service and project work.
• Work closely with field personnel, vendors, and office staff to ensure material needs are met.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory control, and communication between departments.

Requirements

• Ability to work a full-time onsite schedule in a warehouse and operations environment.
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, logistics, purchasing support, or related functions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing multiple priorities while supporting internal customers.
• Comfortable using inventory, purchasing, or order-tracking software systems.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to perform hands-on warehouse work and safely handle materials and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting HVAC, mechanical service, construction, industrial distribution, or related trades.
• Familiarity with parts inventory, tool tracking, and service-related logistics.
• Interest in growing into purchasing, logistics, operations, or project support leadership roles.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
