Albuquerque offers a vibrant Southwest backdrop with a mix of city convenience, local culture, and easy access to beautiful outdoor scenery.Travel RN Job Details\n \n Assignment Type: Travel RN\n Specialty: Emergency Room / Emergency Department\n Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico\n Shift: 12-hour night shifts\n Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week\n Duration: 13 weeks\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 - $1,700\n Schedule Notes: Option of 36 or 48-hour schedules available; at least 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule\n Orientation: 24 hours\n Charting System: Epic preferred\n Open to First-Time Travelers: Yes\n Emergency Room RN Job Requirements\n \n Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required\n 2 years of ER experience preferred\n Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or compact license eligible before start\n Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required\n CPI and TNCC preferred\n Experience with charge nurse responsibilities preferred\n Comfortable caring for adult, pediatric, adolescent, infant, neonatal, and geriatric patients\n Strong experience with emergency nursing workflows, high-acuity care, and clinical support in a fast-paced ED\n Responsibilities\n \n Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department\n Perform triage, ongoing assessments, and rapid intervention for a wide range of emergent conditions\n Manage patients with trauma, stroke, STEMI, respiratory compromise, and other critical presentations\n Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies in accordance with best practices\n Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, ABGs, arterial lines, central lines, and ventilated patients\n Support procedural sedation, IV access, phlebotomy, and isolation precautions as needed\n Collaborate with physicians, rapid response teams, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary partners\n Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support a safe, patient-centered care environment\n Why Work in Albuquerque, NM?\n \n Located in Albuquerque, a lively New Mexico city known for its unique culture, scenic desert landscape, and year-round outdoor recreation\n Convenient central location with access to dining, entertainment, and community amenities\n Great opportunity for clinicians who enjoy a mix of urban energy and Southwestern charm\n \n Apply now for this Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse job in Albuquerque, New Mexico and join a team committed to exceptional emergency care.
