Senior Web App Developer (ASP.NET MVC)

Salary: $110,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 8+ years of recent ASP.NET C# MVC web development experience, using Visual Studio 2017 or newer.
• We require 5+ years of .NET Core/Standard development experience.
• We require 5+ years of Agile delivery experience, including sprint participation, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.
• We need prior experience developing within a software environment serving more than 10,000 users and working with an RDBMS containing 250+ tables and over 1 million rows.
• We require substantial recent JavaScript development experience.
• We require strong hands-on experience with CSS.
• We need experience with relational data models and SQL.
• We require experience with XML and libraries used for XML processing.
• We value Agile project delivery experience using Team Foundation Server.
• We need the ability to deliver smaller projects quickly and move efficiently between multiple applications and assignments.
• We require experience packaging software and documentation for production deployment.
• We need excellent communication skills.
• We require U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
• Applicants must be eligible to undergo a government security background investigation.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, although 12+ years of equivalent experience may be substituted.

• We develop new capabilities and enhance existing web applications using ASP.NET MVC, with a focus on performance and responsiveness.
• We work with cross-functional partners to define requirements, shape system architecture, and create scalable designs using UML-based modeling.
• We build and support backend systems, APIs, and services using C#, WCF, and RESTful API standards.
• We implement front-end functionality with technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and HTML/CSS.
• We integrate and manage data across platforms including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• We perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and participate in Agile development cycles to maintain quality and delivery schedules.
• We design distributed and microservices-based architectures using cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• We use version control and development tools including GitHub, TFS, SVN, and Visual Studio to manage source code efficiently.
• We support CI/CD pipelines to streamline automated deployment and continuous delivery.
• We apply secure application design practices, sound system design principles, and SDLC best practices throughout development.
