About the Role

Step into a pivotal support position within Polyventive’s Quality organization. As a Quality Control Laboratory Operations Technician, you’ll help safeguard the quality, consistency, and fitness-for-use of our raw materials, in-process intermediates, and finished products. Your day will blend hands-on lab support, precise documentation, and time-sensitive coordination to keep products moving on schedule.

A Day in the Life

Your morning starts by closing and tracking work orders, then printing and applying labels to containers so early morning shipments—both to customers and between sites—leave on time. You’ll coordinate with our Commercial Team and Customer Service to prepare and send requested product samples (SC). Throughout the day you’ll maintain lab hygiene and safety, operate modern analytical instruments, and keep meticulous records that back our quality standards.

What You’ll Do

• Close and track work orders; print, deliver, and apply labels to containers for early AM customer and inter-site shipments.
• Provide QC lab operations support, including record keeping, filing, and occasional basic quality testing.
• Operate state-of-the-art analytical equipment with attention to accuracy and safety.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Team and Customer Service to send requested product samples (SC).

What You Bring

• High school diploma or higher; advanced coursework preferred but not required when offset by relevant lab/medical experience or training.
• 3+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
• At least 1 year in a quality-focused or data-entry role (e.g., packaging, lab testing, logistics, customer service, medical) preferred.
• Some secondary education (Business science) or equivalent experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
• Comfort with basic math and data accuracy.
• Keen observation skills and a collaborative approach to resolving issues promptly.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities.
• Proficiency with common computer applications.
• Professional, courteous representation of Polyventive.

Work Environment

Work occurs primarily in an indoor, temperature-controlled setting. You will also move through plant areas with varying temperatures and humidity and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Normal operations can generate noise, dust, vapor, and fumes; Polyventive continually applies design engineering to minimize these exposures and supplies safety equipment to keep team members safe and within OSHA standards.
