Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8 Hours, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM | Weekend coverage required once per month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services in both outpatient and acute care settings, with a primary focus on outpatient care
- Deliver monthly weekend coverage in the acute care setting on a rotating basis
- Evaluate, assess, and treat patients in accordance with established physical therapy standards and care plans
- Document patient progress and clinical notes using Epic EMR
- Participate in holiday coverage on a rotating basis as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required (may apply immediately upon offer)
- BLS certification required
- Experience in both outpatient clinic and acute care settings
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates are not accepted)
- Minimum one year of prior travel therapy experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR documentation
- Familiarity with travel contract expectations and compliance requirements
