Director of Plant Operations

Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturer, is looking for a Plant Director in Menominee, WI. Our client will be tripling in size over the next few years and is looking for a leader that can streamline processes and accelerate growth – for your career and for their business! Details: Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm – plus extended hours while production is ramping. Pay: $165,000 - $210,000 10% bonus annually and 10% bonuses each quarter. Relocation assistance offered! Ability to travel internationally rarely. Position: We are looking for a candidate with a pharmaceutical manufacturing background who can manage a small team of 14. This team will nearly triple in size over the next few years! We are looking for your expertise to make this happen – do you have a Bachelor’s Degree. experience running a plant that is experiencing extreme growth, implementing lean processes, new SOPs, managing KPIs, and full P&L management? Provide overall leadership for the Menomonie Manufacturing Plant, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations. Lead and develop Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to deliver reliable supply, strong service, and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and Lean Six Sigma principles. Ensure operations comply with all regulatory, cGMP, quality, and company standards. Collaborate with Quality to maintain inspection readiness, address deviations/CAPAs, and support robust product release. Own plant performance across key safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity metrics. Translate business needs into actionable site plans, balancing resources to meet commercial goals. Oversee production planning and execution for on-time, in-full manufacturing and shipment. Lead site engineering and maintenance, including utilities, calibration, validation, and capital projects. Direct supply chain activities, including materials planning, inventory, warehousing, procurement, and logistics. Drive process improvements to boost throughput, first-time quality, cost efficiency, and compliance. Build organizational capabilities via coaching, talent development, and clear expectations. Support audits and inspections, ensuring timely and effective responses. Manage the site budget and capital plan with strong financial discipline.
