Buyer Location: Branchburg, NJ | Job Type: Full-Time | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite | Salary: $85,000–$92,000 per year We are seeking an experienced Buyer to manage purchasing, inventory, and supplier relationships for an industrial parts distribution business. Firm Requirements 3–5 years of Buyer/Purchasing experience 2–3 years working for a parts distributor 2–3 years of international purchasing experience Responsibilities Manage purchasing and inventory for assigned product lines. Analyze demand, inventory levels, lead times, and sales history. Determine what, when, and how much to purchase. Manage purchase orders with international suppliers. Negotiate pricing, terms, MOQs, and lead times. Monitor backorders, shortages, excess, and slow-moving inventory. Coordinate international shipments and supplier issues. Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory data in the ERP system. Identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities. Qualifications Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Acumatica is a plus. Strong Excel and computer skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
