Cash Applications Analyst

Cash Applications Analyst – Stoughton, Massachusetts – Permanent – $23.00–$25.00 per hour Overview We are hiring multiple Cash Applications Analysts to support a growing accounting team following a recent acquisition. Key Responsibilities Apply daily customer payments (lockbox, ACH, wire, credit card) Match payments to open invoices using remittance details Process intercompany transactions and billing adjustments Research and resolve payment discrepancies, including: Unapplied cash Short payments and deductions Duplicate or overpayments Reconcile bank activity and payment batches Partner with AR, Billing, and Operations teams to resolve issues Assist with month-end close related to cash applications Maintain accurate documentation to support audit requirements Qualifications 2–3 years of cash applications, AR, billing, or related experience (internships considered for strong entry-level candidates) Experience working in an ERP system (training provided on internal tools) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines Experience in high-volume transaction environments Exposure to unapplied cash research and reconciliations Accounting or finance-related degree (or equivalent experience) #J-18808-Ljbffr KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting
