Service Manager

A well-established equipment dealership serving the construction industry is seeking a Service Manager to lead service operations in the Oklahoma City area. The Service Manager will play a key role in driving technician productivity, warranty compliance, service quality, and customer satisfaction, while partnering closely with parts, sales, and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day service department operations, including shop and field service Develop, implement, and enforce service processes to improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround times Oversee technician scheduling, dispatching, and workload planning Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders, billing, and warranty submissions Monitor service department performance metrics, labor efficiency, and profitability Recruit, train, coach, and develop service technicians and support staff Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization within the service department Act as a primary point of contact for escalated customer service or technical issues Collaborate with parts and sales teams to support customer needs and equipment uptime Maintain departmental tools, vehicles, and equipment in proper working condition Qualifications Previous experience in a service department leadership role, preferably within equipment, underground construction, or a related industry Strong technical understanding of equipment service, diagnostics, and repair processes Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop service teams Working knowledge of service department financials, including labor efficiency and warranty processes Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership business systems Ability to analyze reports and translate data into operational improvements Equal Opportunity Employer All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. #J-18808-Ljbffr Herk & Associates - Heavy Equipment Jobs
