IT Support Specialist - DC

DescriptionKforce has a client seeking an IT Support Specialist for an onsite opportunity in Washington, DC. This role will provide hands-on technical support to attorneys and staff across PCs, phones, mobile devices, audiovisual equipment, IT peripherals, and office infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-service mindset, and experience supporting users in a professional corporate environment.Responsibilities:* IT Support Specialist will provide onsite technical support for PCs, phones, IT peripherals, AV equipment, and office IT infrastructure* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and related technologies* Document incidents, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions thoroughly within ServiceNow* Support incidents escalated from IT Technicians and the Service Desk* Provide technical support during meetings, conferences, and events, both onsite and offsite as needed* Support Zoom and Microsoft Teams conferencing environments* As an IT Support Specialist, you will troubleshoot Cisco VoIP phones and voicemail systems* Configure and support printers and multifunction devices* Assist with network troubleshooting and server/network room activities, including patching network equipment, racking servers, and evaluating power and cooling issues* Support planned and unplanned power, HVAC, network, and other office outages* Collaborate with internal IT teams on projects and technology initiatives* Support office administration priorities and special projects as assigned* Travel to additional office locations as neededRequirements* Bachelor's degree* IT certifications such as ITIL Foundation or CompTIA A+, or demonstrated equivalent experience* 3+ years of experience working in a corporate environment* 3+ years of technical support experience* Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Word* Experience supporting and troubleshooting Cisco VoIP phones and voicemail systems* Experience supporting Zoom and Microsoft Teams* Experience supporting Apple and Android mobile devices and operating systems* Experience configuring and troubleshooting printers and multifunction devices* Experience using ServiceNow to document and manage IT incidents* Experience working within server/network rooms, including network patching, server racking, and evaluating power and cooling issues* Experience supporting and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment* Working knowledge of network troubleshooting* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Customer-focused approach with strong follow-through* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to effectively contribute to technical and project documentation* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision* Ability to contribute to specialty support teams and major IT projects* Ability to travel for business and independently support additional office locations* Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds* Ability to work onsiteJob TypeDirect HireCompensation40 - $42
