Production Scientist

Seeking a Production Scientist to support the synthesis and manufacturing of small organic molecules and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs ) during process development, optimization, technology transfer, scale-up , and validation activities. This role involves hands‑on chemical synthesis, operation of laboratory and manufacturing equipment, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure safe, high‑quality, and compliant production processes. Responsibilities Perform chemical synthesis and reactions on gram to multi‑kilogram scale. Support process development, optimization, scale‑up, technology transfer, and validation activities. Operate, maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory and manufacturing equipment. Follow cGMP requirements, SOPs, and safety procedures while maintaining accurate documentation. Identify and escalate processing, quality, or operational issues. Complete calculations, record results, and support data entry and technical documentation. Collaborate with scientists and cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines and customer objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field with coursework in organic chemistry; OR Associate degree or high school diploma with 4+ years of chemical manufacturing experience. Experience performing organic synthesis or chemical manufacturing activities. Knowledge of cGMP environments and laboratory documentation practices. Strong attention to detail, technical writing, and problem‐solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
