Inventory Control Associate 1 - Full Time Inventory Control Associate 1 - Full Time Overview Role: Inventory Control Associate is responsible for a variety of inventory control activities to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the product within the distribution center to support receiving, pick, pack, replenishment and shipping processes. Job Details Job ID: 284714 Location Name: Mississippi Distribution Center Address: 8500 Nail Road, Olive Branch, MS 38654, United States (US) Job Type: Full Time Position Type: Regular Job Function: Distribution Center Essential Functions Perform inventory control activities including overflow/cycle counts, researching missing product for orders, and handling damaged product per company/vendor agreements. Respond to questions from co-workers concerning product location and status. Conduct audits on packed orders to ensure quality standards are met per company standards. Perform slotting and cubiscan activities for Retail Operations. Assemble special promotional packages and gift bags. Inventory and track samples for Dotcom orders. Perform area maintenance per established company SOPs. Follow all company, state and OSHA safety rules and wear appropriate work attire; report safety violations to supervisory or management personnel. Comply with all company Loss Prevention policies and procedures. Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by Sephora. Maintain a flexible work schedule and comply with designated shift and overtime as needed. Proactively respond to direction from leadership, including Shift Coordinators and management staff. Provide high quality internal and external customer service per company standards. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Familiarity with WMS software or menu driven applications. Familiarity with warehouse layout or ability to learn layout. Ability to operate RF terminals to track product in the warehouse. Basic math skills and ability to match numbers. Ability to multi-task and solve problems. Ability to work independently and be detail oriented. Ability to understand other functions of the business as they apply to the position. Positive and enthusiastic demeanor. Supervisory Responsibilities None Working Conditions Moderate but varying temperature and humidity in office and warehouse environments. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, sit, squat, lift and/or walk for the duration of the shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Minimum Qualifications Previous experience working in a distribution/warehouse environment preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Compensation Starting base pay is $18.00 - $19.25/hr. Certain work schedules may be eligible for shift differential pay. Certain work schedules may also be eligible for shift differential pay. This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
