Sit-Down Forklift OperatorLocation: Modesto, CA Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday Overtime: Occasional overtime availableJob SummaryWe are currently hiring an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a beverage manufacturing facility in Modesto, CA. This position is responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move raw materials, finished products, and pallets throughout the warehouse and production areas while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stack pallets of bottled beverages and production materials.Supply production lines with materials and remove finished products as needed.Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and minimizing damage.Perform routine forklift inspections before each shift and report equipment concerns.Maintain inventory organization and keep warehouse aisles clear.Follow all company safety policies, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and warehouse procedures.Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of recent sit-down forklift experience required.Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.RequirementsMust have at least 2 years of sit-down forklift experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and work throughout the duration of the shift.Must successfully complete an on-site forklift evaluation prior to placement.Steel-toe or composite-toe boots required.
