Scheduled shifts are 7a-7p typically. Call is either 7a-7p or 7p-7a \n Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays \n Floating Requirements: None \n Start date- Oct 12th About Facility: \n \n Licensed for 457 beds \n Level 3 Trauma \n Stroke center of Excellence \n Bariatric center of Excellence \n Chest Pain Center \n Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit \n \n Department Information: \n \n 19 OR suites – 17 rooms are blocked \n About Unit Designations\n \n Bariatric Center of Excellence \n Advanced Spine Surgery Certification \n \n Avg 50 Cases per day \n \n Minimum Years of Experience required: 5 Years \n \n Will you accept a first-time traveler: No \n \n Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: \n \n Surgery specialties include, Trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, Robotics (we have three), General, HPB, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain, Plastics \n \n Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: \n \n Surg Tech: BLS and Certification preferred but not required \n \n Skills required: \n \n Experience to scrub in the following cases: Trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, Robotics (we have three), General, HPB, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain, Plastics \n Neuro experience is a hard stop. Must have recent and comprehensive experience with Globus, robotic/navigation, ALIFs, TLIFs, ACDFs, Later, poster/anterior cases. Pease include in interview notes how often candidate performs these cases and overall experience with them. \n Sterile Technique \n \n Support within the Department: \n \n Service Line Clinical Supervisors, Charge nurses, Educators, ORAs, Unit Secretaries, Tech Engineers \n \n Technology/Equipment: \n \n EMR: EPIC \n Department specific Equipment: various in multiples \n \n Floating: If yes, where: No Orientation (facility and unit): \n \n NEO \n 2 days departmental \n \n Scheduling: \n \n Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend\n \n Weekend coverage could be in the form of call or a scheduled shift – depending on the need. Scheduled shifts are 7a-7p typically.
