Job TitleMovement of goods within the supply chain. Storage of raw materials or finished goods within a facility. Plans and controls the flow of raw materials of finished products from start to finish. Transportation of finished products typically to consumers or resellers.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPicks items on sales ordersSelects shipping container and proper packaging for the shipmentRe-checks order before packagingRed lines any unavailable items to complete shipmentPackages order for shipmentSeparates and distributes orders to various departments on an as needed basisOperates a UPS Maxiship and Federal Express Powership computer systemPicks packs and weighs orders requiring delivery charges to determine shipping costsPreparing international shipping documentsCoordinates changes to sales orders with CSGHours are 7:30-4:00PM; this is a requirement of the job. Overtime required as needed.Effectively presents information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organizationMakes additions and withdrawals to physical inventoryCan operate hand cart, pallet jack and forkliftWilling to cross trainOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferredOne year minimum related experience preferredAbility to read, write, speak and comprehend the English languageAbility to perform basic mathematical skillsAbility to perform job duties using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
