SAP Training Specialist (Sr.) – WalkMe - U.S. Citizenship Required Category: ERP/CRM/Tools Main location: United States, Virginia, Fairfax Alternate Location(s): United States, Louisiana, Lafayette; United States, Tennessee, Knoxville; United States, Virginia, Lebanon Position ID: J0626-0083 Employment Type: Full Time Position Description CGI Federal is seeking an experienced SAP Training Developer to support the development and delivery of training for an SAP S/4HANA implementation for a large Federal government agency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience planning, developing, and executing end‑user training for a large‑scale implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This is an exciting full‑time opportunity to work in a fast‑paced team environment supporting one of the largest organizations in the U.S. Federal Government. We take an innovative and collaborative approach to supporting our client, working in an Agile environment and using emerging technologies. You will collaborate with a dynamic team and have opportunities to learn and grow your consulting and training skills as you help guide our client through a change‑management journey. Position is located in one of CGI Federal’s offices in Fairfax, VA; Lebanon, VA; Lafayette, LA; or Knoxville, TN. A hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week. Your future duties and responsibilities Apply training and instructional design principles to ensure alignment with mission training objectives. Plan, develop, and deliver training materials as scheduled. Create training content and materials based on the financial system being implemented; this will require learning enough about the core system to develop relevant training materials. Deliver training through a variety of methods, including in‑person classroom sessions, virtual training, and self‑directed learning for a decentralized audience. Build and maintain WalkMe content to support tactical and strategic digital‑adoption goals, providing on‑screen user assistance and enhancing the user experience within target systems. Demonstrate the desire and ability to travel within the U.S., as needed, to deliver training. Develop training that teaches users financial processes and related technology, including role‑based exercises within an SAP training environment. Coordinate related stand‑alone documents that support training. Conduct needs assessments and instructional analyses to determine appropriate learning methods. Prepare supporting plans for training project completion, including comprehensive timelines. Conduct performance‑based measurement assessments to objectively evaluate instructional programs. Prepare training status reports, exhibits, communications, and procedures as required. Consult with senior instructional staff to confirm program objectives, operational procedures, and system constraints. Stay current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including advancements in technology. Author and organize training system procedural manuals and supporting documentation in accordance with organizational and departmental requirements. Required qualifications to be successful in this role U.S. citizenship required and successful completion of CGI background check prior to beginning work. Ability to obtain and maintain DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance. BS degree in Business, Education, Training, HR, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in training development and delivery for Federal government clients. Experience with WalkMe; Builder 1 and Builder 2 Certifications. Experience with training authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, or Vyond.
