Greenleaf Corporation, a world leader in industrial cutting tools and technical ceramics, is looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator for our global headquarters in Saegertown, PA.
Responsibilities:
The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for managing, and coordinating all Environmental, Health, and Safety activities to proactively drive programs and create a culture to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all our employees. This highly visible role will have daily interaction with all employees and be a presence on the manufacturing floor
- Ensure facility conformance with all applicable federal, state, local and corporate environmental, health and safety laws, regulations, policies and guidelines as well as maintaining appropriate documentation and reporting.
- Ensure that all employee training is completed, documented and maintained in regard to regulatory requirements.
- Monitor follow-ups and corrective action resulting from all corporate and plant environmental, health and safety audits.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for at the plant.
- Provide safety training to all new employees as part of our on-boarding program.
- Detailed Injury root cause analysis and incident reporting.
- Contingency and emergency preparedness planning.
- Pollution prevention and waste minimization.
- Hazardous waste, air programs, water programs and community Right to Know.
- Evacuation and emergency drills.
- Providing Safety and Environmental reporting ensuring compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and staying current with changes and revisions.
- Noise exposure and audio metric management.
- Generally, works in an office setting but will be required to spend time each day inside a plant environment.
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Implementation.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in EHS working the United States without sponsorship.
