Position Summary BYLT Premium Basics is hiring a Retail Stylist. The ideal candidate is customer‑service oriented and is passionate about people. This individual will inspire to be a product expert to educate, inform, and outfit the customer for any occasion. They will have a BYLT for you mindset and be a true ambassador of the brand. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Actively greet and engage with customers on the sales floor to provide the best customer experience Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge Support the maintenance of a neat and tidy sales floor to ensure a positive shopping experience, including folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising garments per BYLT’s guidelines to maximize selling opportunities Keep clientele informed by notifying them of current promotions and future merchandise of potential interest Respond to customers’ questions Administer financial transactions by processing payments by cash, gift cards, store‑credit, or other credit and debit cards Alert management of potential security issues Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise Other duties as assigned POSITION TITLE: Retail Stylist DEPARTMENT: Retail Operations REPORTS TO: Store Manager Qualifications & Required Skills Excellent communicator with the ability to utilize technology effectively and engage with customers and team to meet goals Problem solver focused on continuous improvement, open to feedback and takes action as required Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally Use basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on‑the‑job training Meeting sales goals Ability to upsell BYLT product knowledge Customer service and people skills Fast‑paced energy level Dependability General math skills Preferred Experience / Skills 1 year+ of retail experience Cash handling skills & Point of Sales Systems experience Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
