P-Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric Salary Range: $28-$30 per hour Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our geriatric population. Responsibilities: - Work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans for geriatric patients - Assist with exercises, activities, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function - Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients - Adhere to all state and federal regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new techniques and research in geriatric physical therapy Qualifications: - Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program - Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant - Minimum of 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Compassionate and patient-focused attitude - Knowledge of state and federal regulations for physical therapy services in a geriatric setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
