RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location: Smyrna, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with variable days required.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting. The role involves participating in diagnostic and interventional procedures, managing patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in circulating, sedation, and scrubbing, and will be familiar with both diagnostic and PCI procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage patients during cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer sedation when necessary.
• Perform both diagnostic and interventional procedures such as Left and Right Heart Caths, PCIs, and more.
• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in necessary call rotations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of direct experience in a Cath Lab, preferably in a community hospital setting.
• Current RN licensure.
• Certifications: ARRT or RCIS required.
• Experience with advanced skills in IR, Specials, and Vascular procedures is preferred.
