Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a cancer center outpatient clinic requiring experience with high patient volumes and multi-unit treatment coordination.

Details

• Clinic-based Radiation Oncology position at a cancer center
• Caseload of 64-68 patients per day across two treatment units
• Uses Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE linear accelerators
• Uses ARIA record and verify system, upgrading to v18.1
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with hours varying between 8:00am-5:30pm
• No weekends or call required
• Potential for 4x10 schedule

Requirements

• Experience in mid-to-large hospital settings required
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a high-volume environment
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments across two treatment units
• Work independently while managing multiple patients and tasks throughout the day
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year and relocated with a new address to be considered as a traveler
