Accounting Coordinator

The Accounting Coordinator supports the accounting team by processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, assisting with month-end close activities, and supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and customer billings accurately and on time.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including payments, collections, and account follow-up.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting records, prepare reports, and support project/job cost tracking.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
• Experience with invoice processing, billing, collections, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience using ERP or accounting software systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction accounting or project/job cost accounting environments.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Viewpoint or Oracle.
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
