ROUTE DRIVER - MICROMARKET (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full‑time ROUTE DRIVER – MICROMARKET positions. Location: Canteen – 4500 Distriplex Cove, Memphis, TN 38118. Note: online applications accepted only. Additional Job Duties & Responsibilities: Service and stock assigned micro‑market locations, ensuring products are replenished, properly rotated, and maintained at optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand. Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building positive client relationships, addressing service concerns promptly, and communicating new products and offerings. Maintain merchandising and market presentation standards by organizing displays, stocking products according to planograms, and ensuring all market areas remain clean, sanitary, and visually appealing. Manage inventory and route accountability by accurately tracking product movement, reconciling inventory, handling cash and receipts, completing required documentation, and conducting vehicle inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations. Job Summary Summary: The Route Driver operates a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services and maintains micro‑market equipment. The Route Driver is the face of the company and must project a professional and positive image of Canteen at all times while maintaining and building excellent client and customer relationships. This position offers advancement opportunities for entry‑level management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro‑market. Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance. Display a clear understanding of company policies and administer as needed. Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro‑market and related equipment. Conduct minor services and adjustments on markets; report defective equipment to maintenance when necessary. Prior to each day’s route, ensure that the truck is properly loaded with all product required to service all scheduled markets according to outlined procedures. Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints. Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers. Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received, and product. Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with district procedures. Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections. Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3 years of driving experience required. Preferred 1–2 years in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience. Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently. Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.). Able to work independently; responsible for route, working unsupervised 98% of the day.
